Awesom Living

She always says she's fine. Now you'll know.

For parents who live on their own, and for you, wherever you are. No more guessing how she really is, and her doctor sees it too.

Nothing to wearNothing to chargeNothing to remember

Parents never want to bother you.

So the bad nights stay with them, and you hear about it last. These are the four families we hear from most.

A woman awake in bed, calling her father from her phone

You live in another city, or abroad

"On the phone they always say they're fine. I only find out something happened weeks later, from a neighbour."

With Awesom Living: You can see how they slept. If something is wrong at night, your phone rings. You have a choice of joining their doctor's review by video, from wherever you are.

A son holding his mother's hand after a hospital stay

If they've just come home from hospital

You've done everything you could this week. On Sunday you fly back, and the house goes quiet again.
You'd like to know how the nights are going, and to have something to show the doctor at the next visit, instead of "she says she's fine".

With Awesom Living: You see how she slept, and how much of the day she spends in bed. Her doctor sees every day of the month from home, and her reports, and reviews her by video. No trip, no queue, no crowded waiting room, no stress.

An older man walking down a dim hallway at night

You live under the same roof

"I would hear him if he called out. But I don't know about the bad nights, or the morning he was slow to get up."

With Awesom Living: The quiet things show up: a broken night, more trips to the bathroom, a slow start. And if he gets up at night and does not get back to bed, you are woken.

An older couple on a sofa, smiling at a phone

They are doing well, and you want to keep it that way

"Nothing is wrong. But the monthly check-up keeps getting skipped, and small changes go unnoticed until they aren't small."

With Awesom Living: Regular doctor reviews that do not get skipped, with 30 days of readings in front of the doctor. Small changes are seen early.

What you get

Everything below is built, except where it says "coming".

The sleep pattern screenEvery morning

How the night went

Time in bed and asleep, how often they got up, heart rate and breathing in bed, and their BP and sugar readings. One short summary, and one tap for the whole night, minute by minute: sleep stages, heart rate, breathing, movement and snoring, as the pad recorded them.

During the day

Time in bed during the day

For someone unwell, or just home from hospital: how long they rested in bed, how many times, and their heart rate and breathing while resting. The doctor's report shows the days with 3 hours or more.

Help when it matters

If your parent gets up at night and does not get back to bed in the time you set, or presses the help button, the family's phones are called one after another until someone answers. You set the night rules.

Always

Plain words when the home goes quiet

A power cut, the home's Wi-Fi down, or one device unplugged: the page says which, and for how long, so a quiet hour is never a mystery. After the power returns, everything comes back on its own.

Every month

A doctor review by video

Their own doctor, or one of ours, and as many of their doctors as you like. The doctor sees 30 days of readings and your answers to 7 short questions before the call. No trip, no queue, no crowded waiting room, no stress. Each review is paid separately, at the doctor's own fee, shown before you book.

After the review

The doctor's own words

Notes, medicine changes and next steps, written and approved by the doctor. Nobody else can change them. The doctor says when to see them next, in 4, 8 or 12 weeks, and that review is booked for you. You can cancel it and pick another time.

Records

All their reports in one place

Photograph a report with your phone, or the lab sends it directly. Every one of their doctors sees it before the review.

Their consent

Their information stays theirs

Your parent agrees on their own phone before any doctor sees anything, and can stop it at any time. You can see who opened what, and when.

Paramedics arriving at a front door at nightComing

An ambulance, one tap away

Verified ambulance services near their address, called from the alert itself, with their details ready for the paramedics.

Dr Anjali Mehta's notes · review of 17 September, 6:00 pm

What has changed / what I noticed
BP has been a little higher in the evenings (around 140/86) than in the mornings. Getting up at night more often in the last two weeks: twice on most nights. No dizziness or chest pain.
Medicine changes
Telmisartan 40 mg: continue, but take it at night instead of in the morning. No other changes.
Next steps and tests before the next review
Keep checking BP morning and evening for the next 4 weeks (the cuff sends it here). Blood test before the next review: HbA1c, lipid profile, kidney function. If BP stays above 150/95 for 3 days, call the clinic.

Written and approved by Dr Anjali Mehta on 17 September, 6:50 pm (India time). Shown exactly as written; nobody else edits it.

Questions

Is this a medical device?

No. Awesom Living is a wellness product, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Heart rate, breathing and sleep are estimates from a consumer sensor under the mattress, shown for general wellness. What they mean for her health is for her doctor to decide.

Is there a camera or microphone?

No. None anywhere in the home.

Is this an emergency service?

No. It tells the family when something looks wrong at night, and the family acts. For an emergency, call 112. Coming: an ambulance one tap away, and with Assured, someone at her door at night when you can't be.

Do they need a smartphone, or to do anything?

No. Everything works on its own. They only need to agree, once, that their doctors may see their readings.

Is her doctor paid to recommend this?

No. We never pay doctors for referrals or sign-ups. A doctor is paid only for a review you choose to book, at their usual fee, shown before you book. Safe and Health work without any doctor review at all.

Can we keep our own doctor?

Yes. You add their doctors yourselves: the cardiologist, the diabetologist, the family physician. Each can see the readings and offer reviews, and you can book with more than one. Each review is paid at that doctor's own fee, shown before you book. Or choose one of ours.

We live outside India. Does that work?

Yes. Review times and alerts are shown in your own time zone, and you join the review from anywhere.

Who sees their information?

Their family, and only the doctors they have agreed to. They can stop it at any time, and you can see who opened what.

Does it diagnose anything, like sleep apnoea?

No. It shows what the pad measured, minute by minute, and notes when the pad flagged something, in plain words. It never gives a sleep score or names a condition. Their doctor reads it at the monthly review, and decides.

What if it is not right for us?

Tell us within 15 days of installation (3 days for Home from hospital). We collect everything and refund all you paid, no questions asked.

Why is 12 months cheaper than 6?

Because one night tells you nothing, and ninety nights tell you a great deal. The value is in what a year of nights shows, and the installation is priced below what it costs us.

What happens in a power cut?

Nothing to do. When the power returns, the pad and the sensors reconnect on their own within a few minutes, and the page says there was a power cut and for how long.
